Frequently asked questions.

How does the licensing work?

Each license gives you specific usage rights based on the selected plan, including distribution, streaming and commercial release limits.

Can I use the beat on all streaming platforms?

Yes. Licensed beats can be released on streaming platforms within the usage limits of the license you purchased.

Do I keep 100% of the royalties?

Non-exclusive licenses do not require payment of master recording royalties to OC Beats unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement. Publishing rights remain subject to the applicable license terms.

Will I receive the files instantly?

Beats purchased through the catalog are delivered according to the delivery process provided through BeatStars.

Can I get a custom beat?

Yes. Custom productions can be created around your references, artistic direction and the sound you want to develop.

Do you offer mixing and mastering?

Yes. OC Beats offers vocal mixing as well as full mixing and mastering services for release-ready tracks.

Do I need to credit OC Beats?

Where reasonably possible, production credit should identify OC Beats as the producer of the instrumental.

Can I upgrade my license later?

Contact OC Beats if you need broader usage rights than those included in your current license. Availability and conditions can then be reviewed for the beat concerned.
